Biography: James R. Lucas is president of Luman Consultants, a management consulting firm that specializes in individual, team, and organizational development. In addition to providing consulting services, he has taught many leaders and managers in seminars, workshops, customized training, and speaking engagements. He is an award-winning faculty member of the American Management Association and a member of the American Society for Training and Development. Prior to founding Luman Consultants, Jim worked for several major corporations, including Hallmark Cards and VF Corporation. He is the author of six previous books, including
Fatal Illusions: Shredding a Dozen Unrealities That Can Keep Your Organization From Success (AMACOM). He resides in the Kansas City area.
