Biography: Steven E. Gross is a vice president with the Hay Group, worldwide consultants to management, and managing director of the firm's Workforce Compensation Practice. In that capacity, he directs the design and implementation of innovative variable compensation programs for team-based corporate clients such as AT&T, CIGNA, Hallmark Cards, Prudential Insurance, and UNISYS. The AMA Handbook for Employee Recruitment and Retention (AMACOM) and various human resources publications, Mr. Gross is also an active speaker and seminar leader for the American Compensation Association and the Society for Human Resource Management. He is a Certified Management Consultant and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
